We previously reported that HONOR would unveil a new foldable phone again. This time called the HONOR Magic Vs2, it was marketed as the thinnest foldable phone with 5.1mm and 10.7mm in thickness when opened and closed respectively. Here are all the deets that you should know.
Weighing at 229g only, the Magic Vs2 features a 6.43-inch and a 7.9-inch exterior and internal AMOLED display respectively. Moreover, both displays also support a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate and HDR10+, as well as 2500 nits peak brightness. The front camera is 16MP but the triple rear camera setup is quite powerful, featuring a 50MP (main) + 12MP (ultrawide) + 20MP (telephoto) camera module. Its telephoto has up to 40x digital zoom.
Next, the Magic Vs2 also has a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Running on MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13 out of the box, the foldable phone has a gigantic 5000mAh battery with 66W fast charging technology, which relies on a USB C port. It's worth mentioning its NFC availability too.
The Magic Vs2 will come in three different colours: Glacier Blue, Velvet Black and Coral Purple. There are two memory variants as well - 12GB + 256GB for 6999 Yuan (~RM4532) and 16GB + 512GB at 7699 Yuan (~RM4985). We don't know if HONOR Malaysia plans to import this here but we shall see.
