After weeks of teasers, HONOR finally released their Magic5 series with the Magic5 and Magic5 Pro smartphones. Featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage and a 6.73-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, the Magic5 is priced at 899 Euros (~RM4260) while the Magic5 Pro offers the same chipset and RAM but also 512GB storage and a 6.81-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate priced at 1199 Euros (~RM5680).
Other tech spec differences include a 50MP + 50MP ultra wide + 50MP periscope Sony IMX858 triple rear camera for the Magic 5 Pro that offers up to 100x zoom. The Magic5 offers a 54MP + 50MP ultra wide + 32MP telephoto sensor that can only zoom up to 50x. Both are camera phones with rather big camera humps but the overall design goes for sleek rounded metal chassis with matte backsides.
No Malaysia release dates or actual Malaysia pricing details for either phones yet though, but Euro prices do tend to be higher by about RM200 or so in general. For the full tech specs and features, check out the lists below.
