Just a few hours ago, HONOR just released a bunch of new products and this includes a tablet. A first for the company, the HONOR Pad V7 is certainly an interesting one as it features a chipset that is unheard of. Anyway, here's everything you need to know.

To start, the new chipset is called Kompanio 900T and it is manufactured by MediaTek. In case you missed it, MediaTek made this chipset, especially for tablets and PCs. It is designed in 6nm with 8-cores in total - 2x Cortex-A78 cores and 6x Cortex-A55 cores. For the memory configuration, it has either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (a microSD card slot is available). The chipset uses a Mali-G68 GPU too.

Other than that, everything else is quite standard. The Pad V7 features a 10.4-inch LCD that supports a 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10 and 2K resolution. It's also impressive to know that the quad speakers around it are DTS:X Ultra certified. You can get an HONOR Magic Pencil 2 stylus or keyboard to connect to it too.

There is only a single camera on each side, sporting an 8MP front camera and a 13MP rear camera. The latter can be used to scan documents and make video calls. The battery pack is quite huge - 7250mAh and it supports 22.5W fast charging technology and finally, the tablet is running on Magic UI 5.0 based on Android 11 out of the box.

HONOR Malaysia has been a bit quiet in the Malaysian market so we don't really know what's going on. We also just have to wait and see if they plan to import these tablets here or not so until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
