HONOR is gearing up to launch the HONOR Pad V8 Pro on 26 December. Before the event goes live, the company has revealed six features the tablet will offer. Interestingly, it claims that these features have never made it onto any tablet currently on the market, which means the HONOR Pad V8 Pro will be the world's first to have them.

First, the tablet's display will be the first 12.1-inch panel to be IMAX Enhanced-certified. It allows the users to stream IMAX Enhanced titles from Tencent Video and iQIYI in the intended quality. It's also the first 2.5K resolution panel to offer 144Hz resolution with such a large display. On top of these, it has natural light eye protection technology baked in, which is also a first for a flagship tablet.

Furthermore, the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 will also make its first tablet appearance with HONOR Pad V8 Pro. Another will be the MagicOS 7.0 operating system, which is the brand's first tablet to run on it. Lastly, the tablet comes with the HONOR SuperNote feature. It enables features such as recording while broadcasting and changing video to notes in seconds by system-level integration.
