HONOR launched a new tablet in China recently called the HONOR Pad X8 which is the bigger sibling of the HONOR Pad X8 Lite released earlier this month. The device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 processor under the hood paired with either 4 or 6GB of RAM.

According to HONOR’s official Weibo account, the Pad X8 sports a 10.1-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels (224ppi) and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the display has relatively thin bezels for an 80.60 per cent screen-to-body ratio and supports multi-touch of up to 10 touches at once.

In terms of build quality, the Pad X8 has an aluminium body, though quite light at just 460g and comes in either Dawn Blue or Mint Green colour options. The device also packs 1620 dual large-amplitude speakers for immersive sound with a 2.2cc large sound cavity and supports HONOR Histen sound effects.

It has a 5100mAh battery, which is relatively small for a tablet of this size and takes up to three hours to fully charge. Other notable specs include 128GB of storage, Magic UI 4.0 OS, a microSD card slot, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 5.1. One thing that’s missing though is a 3.5mm audio jack.

As of the time of writing, HONOR has yet to reveal its availability for other regions outside of China.
