The Kids Edition feature an 11-inch 90Hz Eye Protection display with Ambient Light Eye Care (Dynamic Dimming) to reduce eye strain and E-book Mode for comfortable reading. The Kids Edition tablet features an eye-comfort-certified display, earning the TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification and TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free Certification.
There is a range of child-friendly entertainment widgets, which includes Doodle Mode, Google Kids Space and a Drawing Stick that mimics the experience of sketching with crayons or pencils. In addition, there is also a protective case designed from food-grade silicone that is shockproof and can withstand drops and bumps.
Promising full control for parents, the Kids Edition device features Family Link, empowering parents to set screen time limits, lock the device, manage app downloads, and track their child’s location from their phones. For example, parents can set a one-hour time out for the tablet for an uninterrupted family dinner.
