Yesterday was quite a huge day for HONOR with its launching event for the HONOR X30 series and we’ve reported about the HONOR X30 series. But there’s one more anticipated smartphone we’ve been waiting for also unveiled together which is the HONOR Play 30 Plus 5G.
The HONOR Play 30 Plus 5G looks pretty similar to the HONOR 60 series with a pill-shaped camera module and two large holes on the rear. But in terms of the camera modules, it is an entry level smartphone so it sports a 13MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor only on the rear as well as a 5MP selfie camera on the front.
On the front, it comes with a 6.75-inch TFT LCD HD+ display with 90Hz refresh rate. As for the chipset, it is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip with 5G capabilities coupled with 8GB of RAM and a 128GB of storage as well as an expandable micro SD card slot. It is also powered by a 5000mAh battery with up to 22.5W of fast wired charging support running on Android 11 based on Magic UI 5.0.
As of now, we still have yet to receive the official update on the Malaysia release dates and pricing for the HONOR Play 30 Plus 5G.
