HONOR Play 9T release - SD 4 Gen 2 SoC, 6000mAh battery & 50MP main cam from ~RM611

HONOR has released its new entry-level mid-ranger in China, the HONOR Play 9T. Featuring some competitive specs at a low price range, read on to learn more. 

Under the hood, the Play 9T is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC paired with 8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. Battery-wise, it’s a massive 6000mAh cell which supports 35W charging via the USB-C port.

The display is a 6.77-inch 120Hz TFT LCD with an HD+ resolution and a centre punch-hole cutout housing the 5MP selfie shooter. At the rear, the main camera is 50MP which offers up to 8x digital zoom and is paired with a 2MP depth sensor. 

Other notable specs include Android 14 via Magic OS 8, Hi-Res audio with 300 per cent volume boost and colour options of either Black, White or Green. In China, the Play 9T starts at CNY999 or ~RM611, with global availability yet to be announced.
