It seems that HONOR has finally confirmed that the HONOR Play5 will officially be unveiled in the Chinese market on 18 May 2021. Unfortunately, there is no official information in regards to whether the smartphone will be available outside of China.
In terms of the tech specs, rumours had it that the Play5 will come equipped with a Dimensity 800U chipset, 6.53-inch HD+ OLED display, as well as a 3800mAh battery that supports up to 66W fast charging. Camera-wise, it will come with a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP rear camera while the front camera spec remains largely unknown.
However, do take the tech specs written above with a grain of salt, due to the fact that HONOR has yet to provide an official statement on the leak. Not only that, but there’s also no news on the Malaysia release date, local pricing, and exact tech specs for now.
