HONOR has now officially introduced its latest smartphone with one of the largest battery capacities in the industry, a 10080mAh battery. That said, what should you know about it?
Going big is the trend right now
For your information, the model called HONOR Power2 is only offered in China for the time being. HONOR also uses Si/C (silicon-carbon anode) battery technology to successfully integrate this large-sized battery into a smartphone, while maintaining the device's thickness and size similar to other devices on the market.
Additionally, HONOR says this battery offers a continuous use time of over 20 hours. For fast charging, HONOR includes 80W wired charging support, and it can also act as a "powerbank" to charge other devices at 27W speeds.
In terms of specifications, the HONOR Power 2 comes with a 6.79-inch AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite chip, up to 12GB LPDDR5X memory and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. For image recording support, the HONOR Power2 includes a 50MP sensor on the back paired with a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
For now, HONOR is only offering this smartphone in China, at a starting price of CNY2699 (which is around RM1570 at the current exchange rate).
