Today, the HONOR V40 5G has finally been revealed after a delayed launch in early January. Some of the previous rumors matched the tech specs and features, such as the 50MP camera, 66W fast-charging, and a new 50W wireless fast-charging technology. Here's what you need to know about the V40.

For the first time, HONOR is using a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset for the V40. Besides the obvious 5G connectivity, the memory capacity supports 8GB of RAM and either a 128GB or 256GB storage space. The OLED display is rather large as well, measuring 6.72-inches with a screen ratio of up to 93.2%, up to 120Hz refresh rate, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate.

In terms of camera, you can find a triple rear camera that consists of the aforementioned 50MP main sensor, alongside an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro lens. The front camera is 16MP and it's on the top left pill-shaped cutout with another sensor. The battery is just 4000mAh but the fast-charging technology is really fast - 66W and 50W for wired and wireless respectively.

For the price, there are two variants which are the 8GB + 128GB for 3599 Yuan (~RM2245) and 8GB + 256GB for 3999 Yuan (~RM2494). There is no word if HONOR Malaysia is planning to import the V40 here so we will just have to wait and see. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
