Today, HONOR has officially introduced its latest wearable, the HONOR Watch 6 Plus, in China. As you can read from the title, it has an unusually big battery pack for a smartwatch. The device is now available for pre-order in China, with official sales expected to begin on 29 May 2026.
The Motorsport-Inspired Design
The HONOR Watch 6 Plus takes design cues from motorsport aesthetics, featuring a circular 1.46-inch AMOLED display and a refined metallic casing that varies depending on colour variants. It comes in finishes such as Speed Blue, Twilight Brown, Racing Grey and Shadow Black, giving it a more lifestyle-oriented appeal while still maintaining a sporty identity. The overall body is relatively slim at around 10.8mm, keeping it comfortable for all-day wear.
One of the key highlights of the Watch 6 Plus is its bright AMOLED screen that reaches up to 3000 nits peak brightness. This makes it highly readable even under strong outdoor sunlight, which is particularly useful for runners, cyclists and outdoor fitness users. The display also supports wet-touch responsiveness, allowing interaction even in rain or during sweaty workouts.

Up To 35 Days of Battery Life

Battery life is one of the strongest selling points of the Watch 6 Plus, thanks to the 1,000mAh battery. HONOR claims the smartwatch can last up to 35 days on typical usage, supported by a large capacity battery designed for long endurance scenarios. In outdoor GPS-heavy usage, the watch can also deliver extended tracking time, making it suitable for marathon training and long-distance activities.
Advanced Fitness Monitoring and Other Features
The Watch 6 Plus supports more than 120 sport modes, covering everything from running and cycling to strength training and niche sports activities. It also introduces more advanced sports analytics, including structured training data, heart rate tracking and recovery insights.
The watch is designed to help users better understand performance metrics during workouts and improve training efficiency over time. On the health side, it includes continuous heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking and broader wellness insights integrated into HONOR’s AI-assisted health system.

Beyond fitness, the Watch 6 Plus includes standard smartwatch functions such as Bluetooth calling, notifications and navigation tools. It also integrates AI-assisted coaching features for workouts, helping users structure their fitness routines more effectively. The device supports NFC functionality and improved smart connectivity within HONOR’s ecosystem, reinforcing its role as a daily lifestyle companion.
Price and Availability
The HONOR Watch 6 Plus has a couple of variants based on coloured straps, ranging from a non-promotion price of 1299 Yuan (~RM758) up to 1699 Yuan (~RM991). For now, it's only exclusive in China, and we don't know if the company plans to export this to the Malaysian market.
That said, HONOR Malaysia has always released its smartwatch lineup here consistently. The predecessor, HONOR Watch 5 Ultra, was launched in Malaysia for RM1099. So until then, do stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
