HONOR has finally announced what we can expect from the upcoming event on 29 March. It turns out that the brand will bring the X series, including the X9, X8, and X7, to the local market rather than the HONOR Magic4 series. Besides that, there will also be a new version of the laptop joining that lineup.

Before the launch, HONOR has started hyping us up by sharing the durability tests done on the devices. According to the official press release, the X series has gone through vigorous tests, including soft pressure up to 2,000 times, a touchpad test of 800,000 times and a 24-Hour Continuous Salt Spray Corrosion Test. Meanwhile, the HONOR X9 was also found to have only a 3.8% aging rate after three years of usage.

It's worth mentioning that HONOR had already introduced the devices in some other regions. The HONOR X7 came with a 6.7-inch HD+ display and a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, while the HONOR X8 sports the same screen size with a 90Hz refresh rate and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC. Finally, the HONOR X9 arrived with a slightly larger 6.8 inch IPS LCD and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 under the hood.
