Unlike most smartphones in this segment, the X40i is fitted with only a 4000mAh battery, though it is capable of 40W fast charging. In terms of memory, there is a choice between 8GB or 12GB of RAM, as well as up to 5GB of virtual RAM. Completing the specs list are Android 12 via Magic UI 6.1, 5G connectivity, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual SIM, USB-C and AI face unlock. There are also four colour options available, which are pink, silver, green and black.
The X40i is now available for purchase in China in three variants: 8/128GB for CNY1599 or ~RM1055, 8/256GB for CNY1799 or ~RM1187 and 12/256GB for CNY1999 or ~RM1318. However, HONOR has yet to reveal its availability in other regions just yet.
