HONOR has released a new mid-range offering in China, the HONOR X50i+. A slight upgrade to the X50, read on to learn more about the new device.
First up, the device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Under the hood, there’s also a 4500mAh battery with support for 35W charging via the USB-C port.
The display is a 6.7-inch 90Hz AMOLED with an FHD+ resolution, 3240Hz PWM dimming and 2000 nits peak brightness. The screen also utilises a dynamic island-esque cutout which houses an 8MP selfie shooter.
Meanwhile, the back is where the main camera setup is located, embedded in a circular module. It’s a dual-camera setup, comprising a 108MP main camera paired with a 2MP sensor and an LED flash.
Other notable specs include 5G connectivity, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Android 13 via MagicOS 7.2, dual SIM and colour options of either pink, blue, green or black. In China, the X50i+ is priced at CNY1599 or ~RM1033 for the 12/256GB variant while the 12/512GB configuration is CNY1799 or ~RM1162.
