HONOR has released a new entry-level smartphone series in the Middle East market, the HONOR X5b Series. Comprising the HONOR X5b and HONOR X5b Plus, read on to learn more about the series.
Despite the name, both smartphones are 4G devices that have the exact same size and almost identical features, bar the RAM, storage configurations and cameras. Both are powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 SoC, but the X5b is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, while the X5b Plus sports 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Battery-wise, the X5b Series feature a massive 5200mAh battery, while the display is a 6.56-inch 90Hz LCD panel with a 720 x 1612 pixels resolution. The water-drop notch houses the 5MP selfie shooter, with the X5b’s main camera being a 13MP shooter paired with a secondary sensor, while the X5b Plus sports a 50MP main camera paired with a secondary sensor.
In Oman, the X5b starts at OMR29.9 or ~RM335. Meanwhile, the X5b Plus is available in Saudi Arabia at SAR399 or ~RM459.
