Today, HONOR Malaysia announced two new budget-friendly phones - the HONOR X6a and HONOR X5 Plus. The former was released before and it finally came to Malaysia for RM599. As for the new X5 variant, it's priced at RM449.
To refresh the HONOR X6a tech specs, it has a 6.56-inch IPS 90Hz display alongside a 5MP front camera at the top centre. Its triple rear camera system consists of a 50MP primary camera, as well as depth and macro camera lenses. Another highlight is the 5200mAh battery with 22.5W SuperCharge technology.
The local variant is 6GB + 128GB and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G36 chipset. HONOR RAM Turbo and RAM Expansion are also available, as well as a microSD card expansion of up to 1TB. On the other hand, the HONOR X5 Plus is quite similar to the X6a but with slight differences such as using 10W charging technology and with a lesser 4GB + 64GB memory.
