Besides unveiling the HONOR X9a at an event in Kuala Lumpur today, HONOR also released the HONOR X7a, its latest offering in the midrange smartphone segment. Featuring a 6.74-inch FullView LCD Display with a 90Hz refresh rate, the device is available for purchase beginning this 6 January in Malaysia.
Sticking with the panel, it also sports a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, a 90.07 per cent screen-to-body ratio, 16.7 million colours and passed TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification. The display has a waterdrop notch too, which houses an 8MP front-facing camera for all your selfie needs.
At its rear, the X7a features a 50MP main + 5MP ultra-wide + 2MP depth triple-camera setup. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G37 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device is offered in a singular 128GB configuration, though you can expand it by up to 1TB using its microSD card slot.
In terms of battery, you can expect the X7a to be long-lasting (HONOR claims up to 3.5 days) as it sports a massive 6000mAh battery which supports 22.5W HONOR SuperCharge. Other notable specs include Bluetooth 5.1, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB-C, dual SIM, Android 12 OS via Magic UI 6.1 and colour options of Titanium Silver, Ocean Blue and Midnight Black.
In Malaysia, the X7a is priced at RM799 and is available for purchase starting 6 January 2023 at HONOR online store, authorised dealers, as well as the HONOR official stores on Lazada and Shopee. Moreover, as part of its first sale promo, consumers that purchase the X7a are entitled to free gifts with RM168, including a Vacuum Mug and a 1+1 year extended warranty, while stocks last.
