As we’ve alluded to previously, HONOR Malaysia today released two new mid-rangers for our local market, the HONOR X7b and HONOR X8b. Featuring some compelling specs at attractive price points, read on to find out more about both devices.
Let’s start with the more affordable of the two, the X7b. As it’s already released in the global market, you can check out our previous coverage on the device here.
As a refresher, it features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 paired with up to 8GB RAM, 256GB storage and a 6.8-inch 90Hz TFTLCD screen with a 2412 x 1080 pixels resolution. Moreover, there's a 108MP + 5MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro triple-camera setup, an 8MP selfie camera and a 6000mAh battery with support for 35W charging.
In Malaysia, the X7b is offered in Flowing Silver and Emerald Green colour options at just RM799. It’s available starting 22 December with a Choice Earbuds X5 Lite worth RM139 as a free gift, while stocks last.
As for the X8b, it also features the same Snapdragon 680 SoC paired with 8GB RAM but is offered in a singular 512GB storage. The display is a 6.7-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels.
There’s also a 108MP main + 5MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro triple-camera setup at the rear paired with a 50MP selfie camera at the front and a 4500mAh battery with support for 35W charging. In Malaysia, the X8b is offered in either Glamorous Green or Titanium Silver colour variants and is priced at RM999.
