Today, HONOR Malaysia announced that there will be another HONOR X variant. No, it's not the HONOR X9a which was released in January but the HONOR X8a instead. It is priced at RM999 and launching on 11 February 2023.
The tech specs aren't too much different from the HONOR X9a but one of the highlights is the 100MP Ultra Camera System. Accompanying the main camera is the 5MP sensor for both the wide/depth and macro lenses, whereas the front camera is 16MP. The phone also has a 6.7-inch FullView display, certified by TÜV Rheinland and supports a 90Hz refresh rate.
In terms of performance, the HONOR 8Xa runs on a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage, and is powered by MagicUI 6.1 based on Android 12 out of the box. The battery is 4500mAh and uses 22.5W SuperCharge technology. By the way, there's no 5G connectivity on this phone.
The HONOR X8a will be available to purchase in HONOR Stores, HONOR online stores, Shopee HONOR Official Store, Lazada HONOR Flagship Store and authorized dealers.
