Before HONOR Malaysia unveils a new lineup from the HONOR X series on 29 March 2022, the HONOR X9 5G, X8 and X7 are actually listed on the official HONOR Malaysia website already. With that, we have the full details on the tech specs so here we go.
Starting with the 9X 5G, HONOR Malaysia highlighted six features on the phone. That includes the well known Snapdragon 695 5G chipset, a 66W HONOR SuperCharge technology for the 4800mAh battery, a 48MP triple camera module and a 120Hz refresh rate display. There's also an 8GB of RAM with 2GB HONOR RAM Turbo which we assume to be the virtual RAM.
As the name suggests, the 9X 5G is the biggest of the three featuring a 6.81-inch display alongside a 240Hz touch sampling rate technology. HONOR Malaysia is also claiming that the 66W SuperCharge can fill up the battery to 81% in just 30 minutes too. Additionally, there's a 2MP (depth) and macro lens for the 48MP primary camera. The front camera is 16MP.
On the other hand, the X8 and X7 have the same Snapdragon 680 chipset, a 6.7-inch display, 2GB RAM extension and 128GB of storage (X9 too). The only difference is the 64MP (main) + 5MP (depth) setup on the X8 compared to the X7's 48MP (main) + 5MP (depth) camera sensor, as well as the 16MP and 8MP front camera respectively. Meanwhile, the X7 has a bigger 5000mAh battery than the X8's 4000mAh battery.
All three phones are using Magic UI 4.2 based on Android 11 out of the box. That's all, folks. All that's left are the price tags, pre-order exclusives and availability for the Malaysian market.
