After weeks of teasing, HONOR has unveiled its latest mid-range powerhouse, the HONOR X9d 5G. As you should know, the X9d combines premium durability, cutting-edge display tech, and AI-driven experiences in a sleek, lightweight body.

The device sports a 6.79-inch FullView AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2640 x 1200 resolution, and 6000 nits peak brightness. It supports 1.07 billion colours and 100% DCI-P3 coverage, while 3840Hz PWM Risk-Free Dimming delivers a flicker-free viewing experience.
At its core, the HONOR X9d 5G runs on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset with an Adreno A810 GPU, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Of course, the headline feature is its massive 8300mAh silicone-carbon battery, offering up to 52.5 hours of music streaming and 23.8 hours of video playback. It supports 66W HONOR SuperCharge, topping up quickly for non-stop usage.
Meanwhile, its rear camera setup features a 108MP Ultra-Sensing Main Camera and 5MP Ultra-Wide Camera, while the front hosts a 16MP selfie shooter. The camera system is enhanced by AI tools like AI Erase, AI Remove Reflection, AI Outpainting, and AI Cutout.
Speaking of AI, the HONOR X9d comes integrated with Gemini AI Assistant and a suite of productivity tools like AI Notes, AI Recorder, and Writing Tools. It also supports Magic Portal 2.0, Circle to Search, and AI Translate with face-to-face translation and AI subtitles—cementing its role as a smart daily companion.

With IP69K, IP68, and IP66 water and dust resistance, it offers one of the toughest builds in its class, backed by HONOR Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology and the industry’s first SGS Triple-Resistant Premium Performance Certification.
Dual bass speakers pump out audio at up to 400% maximum volume, while connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.2 with LDAC and AptX Adaptive support, and USB-C for both data and audio.
Price and Availability
The HONOR X9d 5G is available in two variants of 24GB of RAM (inclusive of 12GB HONOR Turbo RAM) + 256 GB of storage for RM1499 and RM1699 for the 512GB model, and it comes in Reddish Brown, Forest Green, Sunrise Gold, and Midnight Black. The phone will be available in stores nationwide starting 10 October 2025.
