Like Huawei, HONOR is also following their footsteps in introducing their own smart life products. In fact, the company will be showcasing a few smart life products tonight via live stream on their YouTube channel with the HONOR MagicBook Pro, HONOR Vision X1 and more. But on top of that, there's gonna be a new HONOR TV as well.

Called as the HONOR Smart Screen X1 series, the TV will sports a 65-inch screen panel that supports 8K resolutions with super decoding capabilities. It's also said to feature a MEMC motion compensation technology (I'm pretty sure that's not the actual name lol) that helps in a high-speed image transition, accompanied by a ACM technology for colour management. As a smart product, you can also expect voice control thanks to the 6MIC far-field voice option.

To add on, HONOR is said to release two variants - a vanilla and pro version - so with that, you can expect some differences between the two. Reports say that pro version will have a pop-up camera for video calls, 32GB storage, and some 6 x 10W speakers. In terms of price, the vanilla and pro will cost 3799 Yuan (~RM2327) and 4799 Yuan (~RM2939) respectively which is pretty affordable for a smart TV.

We shall see if HONOR Malaysia have any interest in bringing the smart TV into Malaysia. I won't mind getting one if the price range is below RM3000. Stay tuned for our news coverage of HONOR's All-Scenario Smart Life Products Launch tonight.
