Today, HONOR just unveiled its very first foldable flagship for the international markets. Called the HONOR Magic Vs, it is unknown if the company would release the foldable phone in Malaysia but for now, here are the tech specs and features.
When folded, the HONOR Magic Vs features a 6.45-inch OLED display, with a 21:9 aspect ratio and a 90% screen-to-body ratio. The internal OLED display is 7.9 inches and it's supported by a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut and a 120Hz refresh rate. There is also a new Circadian Night Display, which minimizes the negative effects of blue light at night. Both screens of the HONOR Magic Vs are equipped with 1920Hz PWM Dimming technology too.
Moving on, the triple-camera setup comprises a 54MP IMX800 main camera + 50MP ultrawide & macro lens + 8MP 3X Optical Zoom camera. The foldable phone is accompanied by an HONOR Image Engine that processes computational photography capabilities for the best high-quality images possible. The chipset is a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and has two memory configurations - 8GB + 256GB or 12GB + 256GB/512GB.
Under the hood further, there is a 5000mAh battery pack with a 66W wired HONOR SuperCharge technology and MagicOS 7.0 based on Android 12. It's worth mentioning about Dual TEE (Trusted Execution Environment) Security System that was co-developed with Qualcomm.
