Since HONOR was sold by HUAWEI as an independent company, we haven’t really heard of it that often. But recently, there's news of new HONOR devices coming soon and one of them will be the first-ever foldable smartphone by HONOR, the HONOR Magic X.

According to the source, the HONOR Magic X flexible display was supplied by the Visionox. As Visionox has a “Master Purchase Agreement” with HONOR,  the company is now supplying about 407 million yuan (~RM257 million) of flexible display to HONOR. It is expected to have a 8.1-inch full flexi display.

As for the other tech specs, it is expected to be powered by the KIrin 9000 chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. On camera wise, it might come with a 108MP main camera, 16MP telephoto lens, 12MP ultrawide lens and a 16MP periscopic lens on the rear.

Either way, there is no official confirmation on the tech specs and releasing dates yet, so do take this with a pinch of salt. But are you excited to see a new HONOR flagship after so long? Let us know at our Facebook page and stay tuned for more tech news updates on TechNave.com.
