Earlier today, HONOR gave us a live demo of the HONOR Vision Pro Smart TV which is the very first product by HONOR to come equipped with the HarmonyOS. While the aforementioned Smart TV is not currently available in Malaysia, HONOR has assured us that we should be able to get it for ourselves eventually.

During the demo, HONOR showcased the various features of the Smart TV with HarmonyOS such as voice commands, screen mirroring, content streaming and many more. In addition to that, on the HONOR Vision Pro, it comes with a front-facing pop-up selfie camera which can be used for taking a selfie, as well as for video calls. It is best to note that the non-pro variant does not come with a front-facing pop-up selfie camera.

Speaking of video calls, you can use the TV to call a person’s mobile phone as well. However, it is only limited to numbers from China for now. In terms of the tech spec, it has a 55-inch 4k resolution display and it is powered by the Honghu 818 Intelligent chipset. It is possible to store pictures and most likely videos on the HONOR Vision Smart TV, due to the fact that the demo unit comes with a 32GB internal storage.

HONOR was emphasizing a lot on IOT with their 1 + 8 + N ecosystem, which allows the user to utilize their smartphone to control not only HONOR appliances but also partnering products from other brands as well. To reiterate, there is currently no official Malaysia release date for both variants of the HONOR Vision Smart TVs as we as the local pricing.
