As some of you already know, HONOR will be launching a new flagship device in Paris, France on 22 January 2019 and not only it will feature a new O cutout All-View display, but as well as the 48MP rear camera and Link Turbo. But is the 48MP camera just a fad and what does the Link Turbo do exactly? Here's what we got from HONOR Malaysia about the HONOR View20.

While HONOR isn't the first to have an actual 48MP rear camera (Nokia did it first, #fact), it appears that the primary camera will be using a Sony IMX586 sensor. Knowing Sony's reputation as one of the best camera component manufacturers, combining this with the 48MP can potentially deliver top quality images and better details when zoomed in with the assistance of the Dual Neural Processing Unit (NPU) of the Kirin 980 chipset and dual ISP. We are really looking forward to testing out the phone so in the meantime, below are some of the photo samples they sent us.

According to HONOR, the camera sports a 1/2.0-inch large CMOS, 4-in-1 Light Fusion and a High Dynamic Range sensor that's 4 times higher

What about Link Turbo? As the name implies, this feature is AI enabled and it "intelligently" analyze the user's Internet data usage as well as network conditions to switch seamlessly between WiFi or 4G network (no 5G yet, lol) by adjusting the download speed simultaneously. With this, perhaps having two apps operating separately in Split Screen mode would even be smoother than ever. There's only one way to try out - until it releases worldwide.

January 2019 won't be long, the next thing you know - we will already be there. Until then, stay tuned for more tech articles at TechNave.com.
