Just yesterday, HP celebrated Hari Raya Aidilfitri by organising a ‘Ini Rayaku Bersama HP’ campaign. The purpose of the event is to give out prizes worth up to RM50000 in total value to 19 families, to spread the Raya cheer and join fellow Malaysians in celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
Managing Director for HP PPS Sales Sdn Bhd, Malaysia, Ms. Kym Lim, commented “The ‘Ini Rayaku bersama HP’ promotional campaign is part of HP’s efforts to join fellow Malaysians in celebration. We hope that our fellow Muslims took chance of this opportune time to strengthen bonds with relatives and friends and rejoice in the festivity together as this is definitely worth the time spent! Mohd Al-Zikry Bin Awallul Aznam, 31 was named the Grand Prize Winner for the ‘Ini Rayaku Bersama HP’ campaign contest, walking away with a Raya open house sponsored by HP and a 50-inch LED LCD TV valued at RM20000. Sinar FM radio deejays, Salih Yaakob and Feeya Iskandar both made a special appearance at the Raya open house celebration, adding on to the already joyous occasion.
Zikry said he was excited and happy to have shared this meaningful moment with his relatives and friends in celebrating Raya and their son’s fifth birthday. “It was really unexpected! I have never won anything big in my life so I am really, really happy to have won the grand prize! Plus, it’s a double celebration for us because it is also my son’s birthday today!”
The other 18 weekly winners also had smiles on their faces and in their hearts, as they each walked away with home appliance prizes. 57 year old Zaini Bin Shuib, who won a washing machine, said that he felt grateful to have won and hope to see more of such campaigns from HP in the near future.
Throughout the month of June and July, customers who purchased a minimum worth of RM300 of selected HP PC products were entitled to participate in the contest. The winners were shortlisted from a call-in game with Sinar FM during the six-week campaign.
