Any fans of HP laptops here? Yesterday, the latest HP Omen 16 and Omen 17 models for this year have been announced. These two new gaming laptops have been unveiled for the US market and they look pretty good.
According to Wccftech, the HP Omen 16 comes with Intel and AMD variants. The Intel variant has up to an Intel Core i7-11800H CPU and GeForce RTX 3070 GPU. On the other hand, the AMD variant has up to an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX CPU and AMD Radeon RX 6000M series GPU. Both variants will have up to 32GB of DDR4 RAM (3200MHz), a 512GB NVMe SSD, and a 16.1-inch QHD display with a 165Hz refresh rate.
Then there's the HP Omen 17, which only comes with Intel components. This 17-inch model packs an 11th Gen Intel CPU of up to Core i9-11900H and an Nvidia GPU of up to GeForce RTX 3080. It will also come with up to 32GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and up to 512GB of NVMe SSD. As for the display, it's a 17.3-inch panel with two options available - QHD with 165Hz refresh rate and FHD with 144Hz refresh rate.
Since HP has a strong presence in Malaysia, we can expect these two new gaming laptops to be available here eventually. At an estimated USD 1049.99 (~RM4351) and USD 1369.99 (~RM5677), the prices are reasonable too. But would you buy these once they launch here?
