Over the years, a few computer brands have been releasing new gaming laptop series. Personally, the HP OMEN brand didn't really reach the heights compared with its competitors but there is a new series called Victus as a mid-range tier gaming laptop lineup.

Starting from 9.9, HP Malaysia just announced a new Victus 16 gaming laptop. Launching with OMEN Gaming Hub preinstalled, the Victus 16 is available with the latest Intel or up to AMD Ryzen 7 processors. The AMD model is slightly more expensive than the Intel model, with a starting price of RM4299 and RM3749 respectively.

Then for the processors, it has an Intel Core i7-12700H series processor or 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 6800H Mobile Processor up to 32 GB DDR5-4800 MHz memory.

There is plenty of storage as well with a single SSD up to Gen4 1TB PCIe storage or Dual SSD supporting RAID 0 storage options as well as optional Intel Optane memory. HP Malaysia also highlighted the OMEN Gaming Hub that offers gamers to control Performance Mode, Network Booster, and System Vitals to help games run better. Plus, HP Malaysia has sent out an HP Gaming Truck around Klang Valley, Johor and Penang. Under the theme #PlaytoProgress, the truck is equipped with the latest HP OMEN and Victus laptops and accessories.

The HP Gaming Truck is roaming around until the end of October 2022, whereby gamers can join the #HPGameOn9 Challenge in either CS: GO, DOTA 2, PUBG or Valorant for a chance to win amazing prizes, including a brand new Victus 16. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
