HP recently launched the OMEN 15 and OMEN 17 gaming laptops starting from RM4485 and RM8699 respectively. In terms of availability, the OMEN 15 is currently available at HP’s Online Store and all authorised HP dealers across Malaysia while the OMEN 17 will be available mid-september 2018.
In terms of tech specs, the OMEN 15 is running on an 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8750H processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card, 8GB DDR4 RAM, 15.6-inch IPS display with anti-glare coating with refresh rate up to 144hz depending on the model, a variety of storage options including any combinations of SSD, HDD, or even Intel Optane Memory.

The laptops also allows for easy expansions of storage and memory with the easily accessible phillips head screw on the underside of the device, allowing the user to increase the lifespan of the device depending on the upgrades they want to add. OMEN Game Stream has been added to the OMEN Command Center, which gives the user the ability to stream their gameplay on various social networking sites and share their experience with their friends.
On another note, HP has also announced the start of the OMEN Challenger Series Playerunknown’s Battleground Tournament which puts 80 teams of four from each country to battle it out in local qualifiers to be given the chance to compete at the grand finals held at Bangkok, Thailand on 2 November 2018 to 4 November 2018.
