HP Malaysia is aiming to lighten your work experience with the new Elite Dragonfly and the latest Spectre x360 convertible laptop. Calling it the Lightness in the New Era, HP aims to lighten workstyles, workloads, and the load on the planet.

What does that mean? The first two are rather self-explanatory, referring to an individual's workload and working environment. Load on the planet, however, refers more to HP's own business impact and sustainability. The Elite Dragonfly is an example of this concept, as it is built using recycled ocean-bound plastic.

But on to the meat of the story: the products. First up is the Elite Dragonfly, a convertible laptop that has a very lightweight body (~1kg), durable CNC-machined magnesium chassis, and slim bezels for a high screen-to-body ratio. It comes in a dark blue finish that we really like and features security software like HP Sure Sense, Sure View Gen3, and a new well-being software called HP WorkWell. In terms of tech specs, this laptop has an Intel Core i7-8565U CPU, 16GB of LPDDR3 RAM, 512GB PCIe SSD, 13.3-inch Full-HD IPS display, and a 38Wh battery.

The next big highlight is the newest Spectre x360 convertible laptop. This year's model comes with an impressive 90% screen-to-body ratio and a 13% reduction in size compared to its predecessor. The tech specs for this model is equally impressive, sporting an Intel Core i7-1065G7 CPU, 16GB of LPDDR4 RAM, a 13.3-inch AMOLED display, and a 60 Wh battery with fast-charging support. It also has plenty of storage options: a maximum 1TB Intel SSD, 32GB Intel Optane, and a PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD with a capacity of up to 2TB.

Besides the laptops, HP also introduced the Neverstop Laser MFP 1200 and the Smart Tank all-in-one printer. The Neverstop Laser MFP 1200 is the more interesting of the two, as it allows you the convenience of easily reloading the toner yourself.

The Elite Dragonfly, Spectre x360 and Smart Tank are all available now in Malaysia for a price of RM6500, RM5499 and RM729, respectively. As for the Neverstop Laser printer, it will be available in Malaysia around the end of December 2019 for RM1249.
