When HTC 10 was announced last night, the rumoured HTC 10 Lifestyle was nowhere to be seen and we assumed that it was just a fluke. Turns out the rumour was true, as HTC 10 Lifestyle will be the lesser version and will be available in selected countries such as India so far. Below are the official tech specs:-
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset
- 3GB RAM
- 32GB storage (expandable memory available up to 2TB)
- Measures 145.9 x 71.9 x 9.0mm and 161g
- 5.2-inch Quad HD LCD display
- 12MP Ultrapixel rear camera (f/1.8 aperture, OIS, laser autofocus, and more) + 5MP front camera (f/1.8 aperture, OIS with ultra wide-lens)
- Fingerprint sensor, BoomSound HiFi edition, 3 noise-cancellation microphones, Type-C port
- HTC Sense 8 based on Android 6.1 Marshmallow
- 3000 mAh battery
Comparing it with the HTC 10, there isn't much different except for the processor, RAM power and ROM storage, everything else is the same is which good. Another minor change is the LTE speed according to sources, the 10 Lifestyle gets Cat.6 (300Mbps download/50Mbps upload) whereas HTC 10 is Cat.9 (450Mbps download/50Mbps upload).
Price should be slightly cheaper as well with the downgraded processor, RAM and storage space, we don't know the availability too but don't be surprised if Malaysia is in the list. Until then, stay tuned and we will update you all as soon as possible here at Technave.com!
