HTC A101 tablet release: 7000mAh battery, Unisoc T618 SoC and 8GB RAM at ~RM1597

HTC yesterday released the HTC A101, a mid-range tablet in South Africa and Russia that's powered by a Unisoc T608 processor. Featuring a metal-body design, the A101 sports a 10-inch 60Hz LCD display with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels with rather thick bezels.

According to HTC’s official Russian website, there’s only one configuration available for the tablet, which is 8GB RAM with 128GB of storage. If that's not enough storage for you, fear not as the A101 has a microSD slot for additional storage.

The device also has a 7000mAh battery that supports 10W fast charging through its USB-C port. In terms of imaging, the tablet has a 16MP main + 2MP depth dual-camera setup with LED flash at its back and an 8MP shooter at the front.

Speaking of which, the cameras at the back supports bokeh mode and 1080p video recording while the front has AI face unlock, beauty mode but can only record up to 720p resolution.

Completing the specs list are a 3.5mm audio jack, Android 11 OS, Gray and Silver colour options as well as an optional keyboard case that connects via pogo pins. The tablet is priced at RUB19890 or ~RM1597 in Russia, with its availability for other regions not yet specified by HTC.
