Wait, is HTC still around? Well, yes but it's been a long time since we last heard of this brand. The last time they actually launched a smartphone in Malaysia was in 2018. This time around, they plan to launch a new pure-Android 10 stock device called the HTC Desire 20 Pro but in Taiwan first.

This source is no rumour and it came directly from HTC's website in Taiwan which probably means the phone will be launched there. Coming soon on 16 June 2020, there isn't much information regarding tech specs and features but here's what we know from the rumours. According to the rumours, the Desire 20 Pro is said to feature a quad rear camera and a front camera cutout on the 6.5-inch LCD panel with FHD+ resolution.

As for the internal tech specs, rumoured benchmark listings suggest that the Desire 20 Pro should be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 or 665 chipset, alongside 6GB of RAM. On top of that, the company will use the traditional way of the fingerprint scanner on the back of the phone. A 3.5mm headphone jack port could be on board too which is good news for the audiophiles.

HTC is struggling in the Malaysia market so it's tough to say if they plan to import this phone or not. Anyway, we will be keeping an eye on the official launch by then. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
