Although it's still a long way for HTC to introduce a new flagship, there are some rumours and leaks about the HTC U12+ here and there. In this latest news, Venture Beat somehow managed to get an image copy but of low quality.

So just to have a fun analysis, if the so-called U12+ is real then this unreleased flagship will be HTC's first quad-camera smartphone. You can see the dual camera setup from the front and back (looks like a face haha). According to sources, the dual rear camera is 16MP + 12MP while the front is using 8MP + 8MP, which is a first for a smartphone to do so (if true). It also looks like the bezels are completely gone but of course, this is due to low image quality so we are taking this with a grain of salt.

On top of that, the tech-specs also list a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6GB + 128GB memory capacity, a 3420mAh battery, a 6-inch display with an 18:9 screen-to-body ratio and of course, it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo.

One more information about the flagship, it seems that HTC is planning to release the U12+ in late April 2018 and there won't be a standard U12, a bold move but we shall see.

So what do you think of the design? Stay tuned for more HTC news at TechNave.com.
