After quite some time since their last upper midranger, HTC has announced the U23 Pro for Taiwan. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset, other tech specs include 8GB / 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage (and microSD card slot) and a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The 8GB RAM variant is priced from 16990 TWD (~RM2504) while the 12GB RAM version goes for 17999 TWD (~RM2652).

In terms of cameras it offers a quad rear camera setup consisting of a 108MP main camera with OIS + 8MP ultrawide + 5MP macro + 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there’s a 32MP camera in a punch hole while the display is covered by Gorilla Glass Victus. Coming in black and white, the U23 Pro comes with a 4600 mAh battery with 30W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging.

It should be noted that the U23 Pro comes with the VIVERSE app which is compatible with the VIVE XR Elite mixed reality headset. It also features IP67 dust and water resistance, 5G, NFC, WiFi 6, USB-C and a 3.5mm audio jack. No Malaysia release dates or pricing details but despite the rather hefty price tag there could still be some Malaysian HTC fans out there. Are you one of them?
