With 2023 around the corner, tech companies are preparing for CES 2023 (5-8 January 2023). There would be over 3000 exhibitors at the in-person event this time, with one of them being HTC. Specifically, the company will show off a new AR/VR headset.
According to The Verge, HTC will unveil a flagship AR/VR headset at CES 2023. HTC's Shen Ye (Global Head of Product) allegedly confirmed that the new model would be a small and lightweight 'all-in-one' headset. In other words, it's expected to support full-featured virtual and augmented reality. This upcoming headset was first hinted at in a teaser a few weeks back.

In terms of specs, the new headset will come with front and side-facing cameras that support colour passthrough. Shen Ye also mentioned controller and hand-tracking support but didn't confirm if controllers would be included with the headset. Besides that, the new HTC headset should have approximately 2 hours of battery life.
For full details, we'll have to wait for HTC to unveil the device at CES 2023. So, what do you think of this? Is this AR/VR headset something you'd be looking forward to? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave.com for further updates.
