HUAWEI Display 23.8" to be launched as the company's first desktop monitor on 14 April

HUAWEI is going to further expand its product catalog by launching a desktop monitor on 14 April. The product dubbed HUAWEI Display 23.8″ signifies the company's first attempt to gain a place in a different sector. Not only that, but it is also announced that it will be made available in the UK, France, Germany, Thailand, The Philippines, and Malaysia.

According to the source, the company's first desktop monitor will arrive with three narrow bezels that are measured at just 5.7mm. Therefore, it enables the monitor to achieve a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. Besides that, the panel is also said to support IPS and features an FHD (1920x1080px) resolution. It will boast a 72 percent NTSC color gamut and a contrast ratio of 1000:1 with a 178 degrees wide viewing angle as well.

Coming to the features, the HUAWEI Display 23.8″ is said to have TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification and Flicker Free certification to protect users' eyes while enjoying premium picture quality. For the price, the source suggests that it could be sold at 149.99 Pound (~RM858).
