A new leak on HUAWEI’s latest product seems to be the new clue for what’s coming in for the upcoming HUAWEI Mate 40 series today. A famous Weibo leakster shared the database of the Compulsory Certification of China stating the new HUAWEI powerbank will support up to 66W of charging speed.
According to the listing, the powerbank is named as the SuperCharge Powerbank that has a 12,000 mAh battery capacity and will work at 5V/9V/12V/15V steps at 3A.This will also match the older HUAWEI and HONOR smartphones charging standards at 22.5W, 44W and 55W which provides backward compatibility as well.

HUAWEI SuperCharge powerbank certification
While there are no current HUAWEI smartphones that supports up to 66W of charging speed whereas the same company did certified another 66W charger few months back as well. So with that, we can at least expect one of the HUAWEI Mate 40 smartphones will be coming in with a 66W charging speed to charge up the 5000mAh powered battery.
Either way, there are still no official confirmation on the tech specs and pricing on the powerbank as well as the HUAWEI Mate 40 series, so do take this with a pinch of salt.
