It looks like the HUAWEI Mate 40E is making its way into the market soon after a reservation listing was spotted on Tmall (a reputable Chinese online marketplace). From there, we could see that the Mate 40E has a model number OCE-AN00 and the device was registered on 9 December 2020. However, the listing has now been taken down by the company.

According to previous rumours, the HUAWEI Mate 40E is expected to arrive with a 6.5-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2376 x 1080. As the name suggests, it is also possible that the device will feature a HiSilicon Kirin 990E chipset rather than the Kirin 9000.

For the camera, it was said that the upcoming device could be launched with a 50MP Sony IMX700 sensor. However, a new report claims that it will come with a 64MP OmniVision OV64A sensor instead. This sensor features a 1/1.34-inch outsole, a single-pixel size of 1um, and supports four in one pixel binning up to 2um. Other than these, not much information regarding other tech specs has been given at the moment.
