Every year, HUAWEI will present its P series followed by the Mate series at a later time. Although the Mate 50 series' launch is considered far from now as it's suggested to be announced in October, the latest news is claiming that the Mate 50 Pro will feature a massive 7,000mAh battery.
According to the source, the upcoming HUAWEI flagship device is also expected to come with a 6.8-inch OLED capacitive full screen. For the refresh rate, it is said to support up to 120Hz. Other than that, tech specs like 5G support, 12GB RAM, 512GB ROM, quad rear and dual front cameras, and HiSilicon Kirin 9000 chipset could also be included in the upcoming device.
As the P50 series hasn't even been launched yet, it's best to take this news with a pinch of salt. However, if the device really came with such a large battery, it could start a trend within the industry by putting large batteries into the flagship devices.
