HUAWEI is now working on the launching event on 22 October in China for the HUAWEI Mate 40 series. On the event, along with the main highlighted device, we are also hoping that the big buddy will be debuting on that day too which is the HUAWEI Mate X2. Today, a concept of the foldable device has been created to give us a closer look at it.

According to the concept posted by LetsGoDigital, it shows the HUAWEI Mate X2 in Grey color with an inward folding mechanism on it. Besides, the renders video shared by Jermaine also shows the placement of the ports which is the volume buttons and power button on the right, the USB-C, and speaker grills on the bottom, as well as the cameras.

In terms of the tech specs, the HUAWEI Mate X2 is expected to come with an 8.03-inch 2480x2220 pixel with a 120Hz refresh rate bigger display. As for the screen, the codenamed ‘Teton’ will be retaining the CPI (Transparent Polymide) but not having an Ultra-Thin Glass(UTG) like Samsung. It might also be equipped with Kirin 9000 chipset running with EMUI 11 based on Android 10 while sporting two 40MP main and ultra-wide lens, a 3X telephoto lens, and also a depth sensor as well as one or two selfie cameras.

Either way, that is just a concept render and not officially by HUAWEI, so do take this with a pinch of salt. But if its debuting, we are pretty sure it will win most of the users’ heart on it. Stay tuned for more tech news updates on TechNave.com.
