During the Huawei Mate 70 series launch event yesterday, Huawei unveiled its latest foldable smartphone. The Huawei Mate X6 boasts notable upgrades and the inclusion of AI features. Let's see what this new model has to offer.
The Huawei Mate X6 has a 7.93-inch primary display and a 6.45-inch cover screen. Both displays are not only slightly larger the ones on its predecessor (Huawei Mate X5) but are also based on LTPO 2.0 tech. Spec-wise, the internal display sports a resolution of 2440x1080, 1800 nits peak brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate. As for the cover screen, it has a resolution of 2440x2240, 2500 nits peak brightness, and a 120Hz display.
In terms of cameras, the Mate X6 is equipped with a 50MP main camera with 10 levels of variable aperture (F1.4–F4.0), a 40MP ultra-wide lens, an infrared sensor and a 48MP macro telephoto with 4x optical zoom. The Mate X6 is also one of the first devices featuring Huawei's HarmonyOS Next, an in-house smartphone OS with AI features like Airdrop gestures for touchless media sharing.
The Huawei Mate X6 is available in Standard and Collector's Edition models. There are also multiple colours like Grey, White, Red, Navy Blue, and Black. Please refer to the list below for prices:
