HUAWEI has finally announced something exciting for its folding smartphone in 2022. The company has released a teaser poster for the HUAWEI Mate Xs 2, revealing the launch date and a small portion of the design.

The next-generation Mate Xs will arrive on 28 April. It would still sport an outward-folding display, and it's odd, seeing that most current folding smartphones come with inward-folding ones. However, let's not forget that its predecessor also launched with an inward-folding display, so HUAWEI might not be changing this for a while.

Since the display is on the outside, the cameras on the rear can also serve as front-facing cameras. Therefore, you can save your worries about the device having any forms of cutouts or notches. It's still unsure what kind of tech specs it'll bring, but it'll most definitely skip 5G as the company is still suffering from the trade ban.
