Besides launching the WATCH GT 4, HUAWEI Malaysia today also launched several of its latest products in our country, which include the all-new HUAWEI MatePad 11-inch PaperMatte Edition. Further improving on the innovative PaperMatte display, read on to find out more about the tablet.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. There’s also a 7250mAh battery with support for 10V/2.25A fast charging and is compatible with 9V/2A or 5V/2A charging via the USB-C port.
The selfie camera is 8MP while the rear camera is a 13MP shooter. Other notable specs include Bluetooth 5.1, quad speakers with Histen 8.0 audio tuning and Harmony OS 3.1 with PC-level WPS Office (MY PH ID ONLY) functions.
The star of the show is of course the 2560 x 1600 HUAWEI FullView Display with P3 colour gamut PaperMatte display which HUAWEI says provides an unprecedented paper-like viewing and writing experience. These include eye protection, pen-on-paper writing, and smooth touch controls, supported by enriched note-taking capabilities.
Offering comfortable viewing and writing in all lighting conditions by eliminating 97% of glare through innovative nano-level anti-glare etching technology, the tablet has a pixel-level precision matching process to align nanoscale textures with pixel distribution, while adjusting structure angles to prevent eye-straining reflected light and ensure clear, uniform image.
It also has the industry’s first SGS Low Visual Fatigue Premium Performance and TÜV Rheinland Reflection Free certifications which reduces eye strain with low blue light and flicker-free technology. Besides that, the panel boasts a silky, fingerprint-resistant texture paired with a more responsive touch surface that has a smaller contact surface for responses to be registered and features a 120Hz high refresh rate that improves the speed by 10% compared to its predecessors.
To help with the screen’s upkeep, the product packaging includes a double-sided, grey microfibre synthetic leather polishing cloth that easily removes fingerprints, dust, stains, and even minor scratches. For a more effortless writing experience, users can utilise the HUAWEI M-Pencil (2nd generation), fitted with a stylus with a nylon elastomer nib and 2ms low delay.
The MatePad 11-inch PaperMatte Edition will be available nationwide starting 5 October 2023 for RM2299 across all HUAWEI Experience Stores, HUAWEI’s Official Website and HUAWEI Official Store on Shopee. Customers will be able to receive complimentary gifts worth up to RM 1496 including the HUAWEI M-Pencil, HUAWEI MatePad Detachable Smart Keyboard, HUAWEI Microfibre Polishing Cloth and 6-months Screen Protection upon purchase.
