HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2 release - Kirin 9010W SoC, 144Hz double-layer OLED & 100W charging from ~RM2689

As we’ve alluded to previously, HUAWEI today launched its latest tablet offering in China, the HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2. Featuring some excellent specs, read on to learn more. 

Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the Kirin 9010W SoC paired with up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. The battery is a 10000mAh cell which supports 100W charging via the USB-C port.

Display-wise, the tablet has a 12.2-inch 144Hz double-layer OLED with a 2.8K resolution and 2000 nits peak brightness. As for cameras, there’s an 8MP selfie shooter at the front and a 13MP main camera at the rear. 

Other notable specs include an 8-speaker setup, HUAWEI Star Leap Keyboard and M-Pencil stylus support, the Fangtian Painting Engine 2.0 and colour options of either Flowing Gold, Xuan White, Inksone Black or the special edition Flowing Gold. In China, the MatePad Pro 12.2 starts at CNY4299 or ~RM2689, with global availability yet to be announced.
