Previously, HUAWEI rebranded the MatePad SE launched in China as MatePad C5e for the Japanese market, and we thought we would be getting it in Malaysia as well. Surprisingly, the company didn't rebrand anything and launched the MatePad SE 10.4-inch for the local market today.
As mentioned in the name, the tablet comes with a 10.4-inch LCD with FHD+ 2000 × 1200 resolution and 4,096 levels of auto brightness adjustment. Under the hood, it packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC alongside 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It also has a 5,100mAh battery.
Furthermore, the MatePad SE has a 5MP camera on the rear, while the front camera uses a 2MP sensor. Other features include Surround Sound tuned by Histen 8.0, Super Device, and HarmonyOS 3. The tablet will go on sale starting 5 November nationwide. It gets priced at RM999 with freebies worth up to RM200.
