After launching the Mate 40 series and a 5nm chipset, HUAWEI might have started working hard again to bring the P50 series to the market early next year. It is reported that the Chinese tech giant will launch the P50 series in the first half of 2021.

According to The Elec, not only the HUAWEI P50 series will be launched in H1 2021, but will also feature the 5nm Kirin 9000 chipset. However, the CEO of HUAWEI Yu Richard has stated that the Mate 40 was the last to have Kirin 9000 on board. Therefore, it is unsure if the company has the interest to bring the legacy of Kirin 9000 to the next flagship series.

Despite the trade ban, HUAWEI was still able to do a good job with the sales of the Mate 40 series back in China. The devices were all sold out in just 28 seconds right after the pre-order event started. After that, the company faced a huge shortage in both online and offline markets. For that, we can't wait for the arrival of the P50 series to see how well it's going to perform for the sales again!
