Other than the Mate 40 series, HUAWEI is expected to introduce a new mid-range device soon as well. Today, the advertising banner of the HUAWEI Y9a has been leaked and revealed the design plus some tech specs. It is also a device that somehow looks like the Mate line with a similar design language.
The HUAWEI Y9a will come with a 64MP quad-camera setup. Other than the 64MP main sensor, it could also be accompanied by the other three unknown sensors which are an 8MP and two 2MP ones. The banner has shown that the device will have 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and 40W fast-charging support as well.
Looking at the design, there is no notch insight as the device features a pop-up module. The side-mounted fingerprint sensor can also be spotted at the side, and people are guessing that the device will come with an IPS screen. Unfortunately, the processor of the device has not been revealed yet, but it could house either Kirin 820 or MediaTek Dimensity 720/800/820.
